Testimonies

At Christ the Vine, we give testimonies in Church when God has changed or helped with something for the better in our lives. These are powerful messages which range from physical healing to finances. Below are some testimonies given by members of Christ the Vine. 

Linet- Jesus blessed me with a Job! 

My name is Linet. A member of Christ The Vine Church brought me to Christ The Vine Sanctuary and God has been wonderful to me. I was looking for a job. Pastor Kemi prayed for me and she had the revelation that I was going to get God's favor, and happily I did, I got a job and I am happy with my job. I want to ask God to continue to bless me and give me strength to continue to do his work. He encourages people and helps people, especially in time of need. Praise God!  

Ruth- Thanking of God for fruit of the womb!

I got married in September 2010 and wanted to start a family right away but pregnancy was not coming as quick as we anticipated. We went to see the doctor who confirmed that there was nothing wrong. We prayed and believed and remained steadfast in faith, believing that God will one day answer our prayer. In August 2014 I went to a retreat for Pastoress UK, a forum for women led by Pastor Kemi. I went there with an expectant heart like Hanna in the Bible. The Lord opened the eyes of the Woman of God, Pastor Kemi and revealed the source of my predicament. Prayer of deliverance was conducted over my life and after a few months, i conceived. We thank God for the life of Pastor Kemi for the prayers, support, love and compassion showed to me during the period of my waiting, God bless you and continue to use you mightily for Gods glory in Jesus name. Trisha- The lord healed my broken heart!

My Name is Trisha and my heart was broken by childhood trauma and rejection. I spiraled into depression and felt worthless for many years, until I came to Christ The Vine Church. There I got to know how much God loves me and received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. As the love of God began to fill my heart, the feeling of failure and rejection departed and i became lifted spirit eager to face the world and embrace all the good things that God has for me. Thank God, I have overcome rejection, I'm no longer depressed. I have become a beautiful flower whom Christ himself is nurturing. Now I can show love without fear of rejection. 

Lucy- a testimony of physical healing! 

My name is Lucy, and I'm a relatively new member to Christ the Vine. I had a medical condition which greatly limited my life and caused me to live with chronic pain for years. This condition started 4 years ago out of the blue, and now, as a young woman of 21, I have not lived the life of a teenager- I couldn't walk for longer than 10 minutes, I couldn't move for fear of dislocation, it's all been very difficult and stressful. But at Christ the Vine, we have been praying for my health since I told Pastor Kemi of my illness. Since we started to pray for my continued healing I saw a huge difference in my condition, at first, the pain was still there and I was still struggling, but it was drifting slowly further away. Then, earlier this year we had a woman's retreat to Scarborough, and God touched me, my life and my soul. He healed me through my pastor, and I have been fine, perfect, wonderful. Glory be to God my pain has not returned and it has been months, it will be permanent in Jesus name. Amen amen!
